Thank you so much for booking your session with me! I look forward to working with you. I have these policies in place to ensure a smooth and memorable session for both of us, and I appreciate you taking the time to read them:



If you or a member of your family is ill before your session, or showing symptoms of COVID-19, you will be required to reschedule. No exceptions. This is to ensure the safety of myself, my family, and our community. I appreciate your understanding on this issue.

While I try my best to stay 6 feet away from my clients, this isn’t always achievable while I am posing you, especially if you have young kids. Because of this, I will wear a mask at all times, as well as sanitize my hands before and after each session. If I am ill, I will reach out as soon as possible to reschedule your session. Your safety is a priority to me.



-Because I want to give each client my full attention as well as their full amount of time, I ask that you please be on time and ready to go. I appreciate you valuing our time.

-I do not tolerate unkindness towards myself, or members of your own family. This includes but is not limited to: demeaning your children or partner, threats for not smiling or not paying attention, yelling, destroying personal property, foul language, or any type of verbal or physical harassment. If I feel like any of this behavior is occurring, your session will promptly come to an end, with no refunds offered.

-If you would like to include your pet in your family session, please inquire with me first. Not all locations allow dogs and I would like to make sure the location we chose for your session is compatible for your family.

-Please be respectful of the environment around us during your session.



-A non-refundable retainer is required to book your session. Mini session retainers are $50, while full sessions and senior portrait retainers are $100.

-Your session fee remainder (total after your retainer) is due at the time of your session, no exceptions. I cannot begin to edit your images until your session has been paid for.

– I accept cash, check, credit/debit card, or Venmo. Credit/debit payments are subject to a processing fee.



Should you need to reschedule your session (because life happens), please let me know as soon as you can. You will have 30 days to contact me to reschedule your session. Cancellations will result in the termination of your contract, and a new retainer will need to be paid in order to book again.

-Respectfully, I have the right to reschedule a session due to illness, family emergencies, inclement weather, or any other unforeseen event beyond my control. In the event that I should need to cancel your session completely, your retainer will be refunded in full.



-I do not offer RAW files. Professionally retouched high resolution JPEG images are included with your session.

-Once your gallery has been delivered, you have 2 weeks to download your images and to make any purchases. There is a $25 fee to re-activate your gallery once the 2 weeks has passed.

-Each session includes a print release. This allows you to print your images where you choose. Feather Blue Photography is not responsible for poor quality prints through third party print labs (such as Walmart, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Target etc). The only way to ensure the quality of your print purchase, is to purchase directly through me.
