Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where can I find your pricing?
A: You can view all of my portrait session pricing here.

Q: What is a print release? Do we get one with our digital images?
A: A print release allows you to print your images up to a certain size at the lab of your choice. A print release comes with each session I offer.

Q: Do you still photograph weddings?
A: I no longer photograph large weddings, but I am more than happy to provide coverage for your small, intimate wedding. Please contact me for more information regarding availability and investment.

Q: Do you still have an indoor studio?
We recently moved, and with that move I made the hard decision to get rid of my indoor studio permanently. I loved every minute of it though and will miss providing those sessions for my clients.

Q: How long does it take before our gallery will be ready?
A: I estimate anywhere from 2-3 weeks, depending on the time of the year and the type of session you have. I will be sure to communicate with you at the end of your session how long I estimate it will be before I am able to send your gallery to you.

Q: What time of the day is best to schedule our session?
A: I offer my outdoor sessions in the evenings during the golden hour; about an hour and a half before the sun sets. This provides the absolute best lighting. Keep this in mind when thinking of booking your session. I understand that that time may not be ideal for your family, and I can certainly accomodate your needs if needed.

Q: How long will our session last?
A: Mini sessions include 30 minutes of coverage, full sessions include 1 hour of coverage, and senior portrait sessions include 1.5 hours of coverage.

Q: What should we wear? Can you help with that?
I believe that what you wear to your session should embody who you are as an individual, as well as compliment the location of your session. Your outfits and colors should “flow” with each other, while sticking to a color scheme. I love Pinterest for ideas!

Q: How do we book a session with you? What do you require to book?
A: To book your portrait session, please contact me via the contact button at the top, or email, hello@featherbluephotography.com.  Please allow 24 hours for a reply. A $100 non refundable retainer is required for mini sessions, and a $150 non-refundable retainer is required for full sessions.
