Brad & Deanna | Oregon Coast Wedding

Brad and Deanna got married in June of 2019, but I just realized I never blogged any of their images from their wedding gallery. Better late than never, right? Deanna is my sister’s sister-in-law (do you follow?), so the whole family traveled from Boise, ID to Bandon, OR for their intimate beach wedding. I was honored that they asked me to be their wedding photographer, how could I say no?! I grew up going to Bandon with my family nearly every summer; it holds a special place in our hearts. The beaches are fantastic; rocks, tidepools, shells etc. And the food- oh my goodness. Fresh seafood every day for breakfast lunch and dinner. Nobody is ever disappointed in a vacation to the coast.

There is one thing though that is always a mystery when you visit the Oregon Coast, and that’s the weather. One day it’s raining, the next day it’s windy, and the next is sunny with all of the above. On this trip, however, we had sunshine every single day and it was glorious. The day of Brad and Deanna’s wedding was no exception. Sunshine all day, and the wind had even died down a little bit for their intimate beach ceremony. After the ceremony, everyone left to begin the celebrations, and I stayed behind with the newlyweds to do their sunset session. It was perfection. No wind, amazing light, and the ocean was our backdrop. I could do this all day every day! Thank you Brad and Deanna for including me; it was truly a trip to remember!

    The Ratto Family

I truly adore this family! I met them about 4 years ago when they moved across the street from us. Their girls were just itty bitty, and just about the cutest things on earth. They loved playing barbies with my daughter, modeling for me when I needed them, and doing slip and slides in the summertime. I have loved watching them grow and change over the years. We have all since moved from our former street, but I was thrilled when they reached out to me to do a mini session. I actually think I was more excited than them 😉 Their session was perfection. The light, the weather, THEM! What a truly amazing family you are, Rattos! Much love to you!

      Welcome To The World, Emmett!

Newborn sessions are always special; each one being unique in many ways. But this newborn session was extra special to me because this is my family <3 You might remember the Meyer Family from their Las Vegas maternity session. Emmett Christian Meyer was born on April 13th, and we did his newborn session a week and a half after his birth and it went perfectly. He is the sweetest, snuggliest little guy! To say Emmett is loved is an understatement. Welcome to the world, Emmett!

Las Vegas Maternity Session | Craig and Kylie

Hello there! It’s been quiet around here; I haven’t done a blog post since April of 2019. To say I’ve been slacking would be a huge understatement. But here I am now, and I am going to try my best to blog every session going forward 🙂

I started the new year with a quick weird trip to Las Vegas for my cousin’s maternity session. They are newly married too, so double the reason to celebrate! I had never been before, and I was a little hesitant to go with everything happening in the world right now, but I decided to do it and I’m so glad I did! Before I got there, I envisioned their session right on the strip, with lights everywhere, the fountains at The Bellagio in the background, palm trees everywhere, and maybe the occasional faux showgirl walking by. Current me laughs at past me because there was no way that was happening (so many people!). So we decided on the quiet, further down the strip garden area of Mandalay Bay where we could safely social distance ourselves and have an enjoyable session. I still miss the sunshine and the palm trees!

        Emery Mae

Last evening I took my niece, Emery, out for her very own photo session. Emery has always been our shy, reserved, and uncertain one. She’s also very strong-headed and has no problem giving her opinion; all reasons why we love her so much! It was fun watching her let loose and gain some confidence while she was in front of the camera. My goal was her to feel as special and loved as she is <3
